About D K Leinaweaver, CPA, PC
Dave was born and raised in Pennsylvania but has called Vermont home since 2008. Growing up on a dairy farm, Dave understands the commitment and hard work necessary to make a business thrive.
Dave graduated from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania in 2001 and has worked for two regional accounting firms – Boyer and Ritter, LLC based in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania and most recently Gallagher, Flynn and Company, LLP based in South Burlington, Vermont. He is a CPA and is licensed to practice in both Vermont and Pennsylvania.
Dave’s business involves working with small businesses, nonprofit organizations, and individuals to identify their accounting needs to help set up clients for success.
Dave has worked with a number of industries ranging from agriculture, construction, nonprofit, manufacturing, trucking, and franchising. Dave also works with start-up businesses and assists with entity type selection (C-Corporation, S-Corporation, Partnership, LLC, etc.) in conjunction with a client’s attorney.
